Desert Harvest is a solar power plant located in Desert Center, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. With an operating capacity of 80 MW, it plays a significant role in the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) power control area. The plant is operated by EDF Power Solutions North America, which is also its majority owner, under the holding company Electricite de France SA. As an unregulated facility, Desert Harvest harnesses solar energy to generate electricity, primarily supplying power to Marin Clean Energy.
