Desert Harvest II is a solar power plant located in Desert Center, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 70 MW, it plays a significant role in the California Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is operated by EDF Power Solutions North America, which is also its majority owner, under the holding company Electricite de France SA. As an unregulated facility, Desert Harvest II harnesses the sun’s energy to provide renewable power, primarily supplying electricity to the City of Anaheim, California.
