Desert Green Solar Farm is a solar energy facility located in Borrego Springs, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 6.3 MW, the plant harnesses the power of the sun to generate renewable energy. It is managed by Invenergy Solar Development, which is also the majority owner and part of the Invenergy holding company. The facility operates under an unregulated status and supplies electricity primarily to San Diego Gas & Electric Company, contributing to the region’s sustainable energy goals.
