Deerfield Wind Energy

Deerfield Wind Energy is a wind turbine facility located in Kinde, Michigan, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 149 MW, the plant is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. Clearlight Energy ULC serves as both the plant operator and majority owner, with LS Power Development as the owner holding company. The facility is unregulated and primarily supplies power to Wolverine Power Supply Cooperative, harnessing the renewable energy of wind to contribute to the region’s energy needs.
