Deerfield Solar is a solar power facility located in Deerfield, Massachusetts, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 4.5 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Bay4 Energy Services and operates in the ISO New England power control area. The facility is unregulated and is primarily owned by Kenyon Energy, which also serves as the owner holding company. The electricity produced is purchased by The Connecticut Light and Power Company, making Deerfield Solar a key contributor to the region’s renewable energy landscape.
