Day County Wind, located in Conde, South Dakota, is a wind turbine facility with an operating capacity of 99 MW. It is part of the Midwest Reliability Organization and operates within the Southwest Power Pool. The plant is unregulated and is managed by Day County Wind, with NextEra Energy Resources as the majority owner. The facility harnesses wind as its primary fuel source and supplies power primarily to Basin Electric Power Cooperative.
