Custer Energy Center is a gas turbine power generation facility located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, operating under the regulatory oversight of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 24 megawatts, the plant plays a vital role in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is owned and operated by Manitowoc Public Utilities, which holds the majority ownership.
