The Cuba Solar Plant, located in Cuba, New Mexico, spans 2.5 acres and operates with a capacity of 2.5 MW. It is situated within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region and falls under the WAPA Lower Colorado Region’s power control area. The plant utilizes solar technology, harnessing the sun as its primary fuel source. It is operated and majority-owned by Cuba 25ac, which also serves as the owner holding company. The plant is currently unregulated and supplies power primarily to the Jemez Mountains Electric Cooperative.
