Coyote Springs II is a combined cycle power plant located in Boardman, Oregon, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. With an operating capacity of 324 MW, the plant is regulated and primarily owned by Avista Corporation, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. The facility is operated by Portland General Electric Company and utilizes natural gas as its fuel source, drawing from the Gas Transmission Northwest pipeline. The power generated is managed within the Avista Corporation’s power control area.
