Corcoran Solar is a solar power plant located in Hanford, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 20 MW, the facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is managed by Consolidated Edison Development, which is also its majority owner, under the holding company RWE Aktiengesellschaft. As an unregulated entity, Corcoran Solar operates within the California Independent System Operator’s power control area, supplying energy primarily to Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
