Cooper is a steam turbine power plant located in Somerset, Kentucky, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. The facility operates with a capacity of 341 megawatts and is integrated into the PJM Interconnection power control area. The plant is managed by East Kentucky Power Cooperative, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company.
