Connolly BESS is a state-of-the-art battery energy storage system located in Decatur, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region). With an operating capacity of 125 MW, this facility plays a crucial role in enhancing grid reliability and supporting the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area. Operated by Bt Connolly Storage, the plant is unregulated, allowing for flexible operational strategies. The majority ownership lies with Bt Connolly Storage, which is a subsidiary of Tesla, a leader in energy innovation.
