Columbia Bryson is a solar power facility located in Grovetown, Georgia, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 1.4 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Brookfield Renewable Partners and operates in an unregulated environment. The majority ownership belongs to Duke Energy Generation Services Holding Company, a subsidiary of Duke Energy Corporation. The primary power purchaser for the facility is Georgia Power Company, ensuring that the energy produced is effectively integrated into the local power grid.
