Colon PV is a solar power facility located in Wilmington, California, operating under the jurisdiction of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC). With an operating capacity of 1.4 megawatts, the plant is a key asset within the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s power control area. The facility is regulated and is wholly owned and operated by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power California, which serves as both the majority owner and the holding company. Utilizing solar energy as its primary fuel source, Colon PV contributes to the region’s renewable energy goals and supports sustainable power generation initiatives.
