Cimarron Bend Wind Project I is a state-of-the-art wind energy facility located in Minneola, Kansas, within the Midwest Reliability Organization region. With an impressive operating capacity of 200 MW, this project harnesses the power of wind through advanced wind turbine technology. The plant is operated by Enel Green Power North America, which also holds majority ownership, under the umbrella of its parent company, Enel SpA. As an unregulated facility, it contributes to the Southwest Power Pool’s energy supply, with Google as its primary power purchaser, reflecting a commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
