Church Road Solar is a solar power facility located in Willow Spring, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 5 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Cypress Creek O&M and operates under an unregulated status. The majority ownership lies with MN8 Energy, which is part of The Goldman Sachs Group. Duke Energy Progress serves as the primary power purchaser, integrating the renewable energy produced at this facility into its power control area.
