Chuck Lenzie Generating Station is a combined cycle power plant located in Overton, Nevada, with an operating capacity of 1,266 MW. It is part of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council and is regulated under the oversight of the Nevada Power Company, which also serves as the plant operator and majority owner. The facility primarily utilizes natural gas as its fuel source, receiving gas supply from the Kern River Gas Transmission Company. Owned by Berkshire Hathaway, the plant plays a crucial role in the local power control area, although it does not have a primary power purchaser.
