Chalk Hill is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Stephenson, Michigan, within the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. The plant operates with a capacity of 7.8 megawatts and is integrated into the Midcontinent Independent System Operator power control area. Wisconsin Electric Power Company serves as both the plant operator and majority owner, under the umbrella of its holding company, WEC Energy Group. The facility is regulated and utilizes water as its primary fuel source, contributing to the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
