CES Sterling is a solar power facility located in Sterling, Massachusetts, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 2 MW, the plant is managed by Brookfield Renewable Partners and operates in the ISO New England power control area. The facility is unregulated and primarily utilizes solar energy, with the sun as its fuel source. The majority ownership is held by DEGS Solar, a subsidiary of Duke Energy Corporation. The primary power purchaser for CES Sterling is the Sterling Municipal Light Department.
