Centinela Solar Energy is a solar power facility located in Calexico, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 170 MW, the plant harnesses the sun’s energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Capital Dynamics, which also holds majority ownership through its holding company, Capital Dynamics Holding AG. The facility operates in an unregulated environment and primarily sells its generated power to San Diego Gas & Electric Company.
