Cataract MI is a hydraulic turbine facility located in Gwinn, Michigan, operating under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 2 MW, this plant plays a vital role in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is managed by UP Hydro, which also serves as the majority owner, under the holding company Renewable World Energies.
