Canis Major Solar Farm

Canis Major Solar Farm is a solar energy facility located in Suffield, Connecticut, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 2 megawatts (MW) and is integrated into the ISO New England power control area. Managed by Maximum Solar, the facility operates under an unregulated status, ensuring flexibility in its operations. The majority ownership of the solar farm is held by Lodestar Energy, which also serves as the owner holding company. Utilizing solar energy as its primary fuel source, Canis Major Solar Farm contributes to the growing renewable energy landscape in the region.
