The Canandaigua Solar Array, located in Canandaigua, NY, operates under the Northeast Power Coordinating Council and utilizes solar technology to generate an operating capacity of 2 MW. Managed by RER Energy Group, the facility is unregulated and primarily serves the City of Canandaigua as its main power purchaser. Harnessing the sun as its fuel source, the solar array contributes to the region’s renewable energy landscape while being part of the New York Independent System Operator’s power control area. RER Energy Group holds majority ownership and operates the plant, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
