The Butler Solar Project 103, located in Butler, Georgia, is a solar power facility with an operating capacity of 100 MW. It falls under the SERC Reliability Corporation NERC region and is managed by First Solar. The project is unregulated and primarily owned by Southern Power Company, a subsidiary of The Southern Company. The facility harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its fuel source, and supplies power to Georgia Power Company as its primary purchaser.
