Brule County Wind is a wind turbine facility located in Kimball, South Dakota, with an operating capacity of 20 MW. It is part of the Midwest Reliability Organization and operates within the Southwest Power Pool power control area. The plant is managed by Brule County Wind and is unregulated in its operations. The majority ownership lies with Consolidated Edison Development, under the holding company RWE Aktiengesellschaft. The primary fuel source for the plant is wind, and its power is primarily purchased by NorthWestern Energy Group.
