The Britton Solar Energy Center, located in Moriarty, New Mexico, operates under the Western Electricity Coordinating Council. With a capacity of 50 MW, this solar power facility harnesses the sun’s energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Nm Renewable Development, which also holds the majority ownership, while Exus US Holdings is the parent company. The plant operates in an unregulated environment and supplies power primarily to TXNM Energy, contributing to the energy needs of the Public Service Company of New Mexico’s power control area.
