Brasfield is a hydraulic turbine power plant located in Petersburg, Virginia, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 2.9 MW, it plays a role in the PJM Interconnection power control area. The plant is operated by Appomattox River Associates, which is also its majority owner, under the holding company Kruger. As an unregulated facility, Brasfield utilizes water as its primary fuel source and sells its generated power primarily to the Virginia Electric and Power Company.
