Boykin PV1 is a solar power plant located in Wade, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 16 MW, the facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is operated by EcoPlexus, which also holds majority ownership and is the owner holding company. As an unregulated facility, Boykin PV1 primarily sells its generated power to Duke Energy Progress, the designated primary power purchaser.
