Boyds Mill Hydro is a small-scale hydropower facility located in Ware Shoals, South Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. The plant utilizes hydraulic turbine technology to generate an operating capacity of 1.4 MW. It is operated by STS Hydropower, which is also the majority owner, while the holding company is Ontario Power Generation. The facility is unregulated and primarily sells its generated power to Duke Energy Carolinas, making it an integral part of the local power control area.
