Bonanza is a coal-fired power plant located in Vernal, Utah, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. The facility operates with a steam turbine technology and has an operating capacity of 458 megawatts (MW). It is managed by Deseret Generation and Transmission Cooperative, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company.
