Bishop Hill II Wind Farm, located in Cambridge, Illinois, operates under the SERC Reliability Corporation region. This wind turbine facility boasts an operating capacity of 81 MW and is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. Managed by EDF Renewable Services, the plant is unregulated and primarily owned by BHE Renewables, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. The wind farm generates clean energy using wind as its fuel source, with Ameren Illinois Company as its primary power purchaser.
