The Big Lake Project is a solar energy facility located in Big Lake, Minnesota, operating under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 5 megawatts, this facility contributes to the renewable energy landscape within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is managed by Dg Minnesota Csg and is classified as unregulated, allowing for flexible operational strategies. NextEra Energy Resources holds the majority ownership of the project, under the umbrella of its parent company, NextEra Energy.
