Big Elm Solar is a state-of-the-art solar power facility located in Troy, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region). With an impressive operating capacity of 200 megawatts (MW), this facility plays a significant role in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area. The plant is operated by Apex Clean Energy Holdings, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, Big Elm Solar harnesses the abundant energy of the sun to contribute to the growing demand for renewable energy solutions in the region.
