Bethlehem Solar is a solar power facility located in Bethlehem, New York, operating under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. With an operating capacity of 1.7 megawatts, the plant contributes to the energy needs of the New York Independent System Operator’s Power Control Area. The facility is managed by Forefront Power, which also serves as the majority owner. The ownership is held by Mitsui & Co, a prominent holding company. As an unregulated entity, Bethlehem Solar harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source, to deliver sustainable power solutions in the region.
