Bear Creek Solar is a solar power facility located in Bear Creek, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 2 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Cypress Creek Fund 9 Tenant and is unregulated, allowing for flexible operational practices. The majority ownership lies with Cypress Creek Renewables, which is part of EQT Infrastructure V. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced is the North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation, ensuring that the generated solar power contributes to the local energy grid.
