BayWa r.e Mozart is a wind turbine facility located in Jayton, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region). The plant operates with a capacity of 30 megawatts and is integrated into the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area. Managed by BayWa re Wind, the facility operates under an unregulated status, ensuring flexibility in its operations. The majority ownership is held by BayWa Aktiengesellschaft, which also serves as the owner holding company. The plant harnesses wind energy as its primary fuel source, contributing to the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
