Barrow Solar is a solar power facility located in Somers, Connecticut, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 2 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Allco Finance Limited and operates under an unregulated status. The majority ownership lies with AO Renewable Energy Limited, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced at Barrow Solar is Eversource Energy, ensuring that the clean energy generated contributes to the local power grid.
