Barefoot Solar is a solar power facility located in Fairfield, Maine, operating under the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. With an operating capacity of 4.3 megawatts, the plant contributes to the energy supply managed by ISO New England. The facility is operated by hep Barefoot SPV and is classified as unregulated, allowing for flexible operational strategies. The majority ownership of Barefoot Solar is held by Madison Energy Holdings, which is a subsidiary of EQT AB (publ). The plant harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source, to deliver sustainable power solutions in the region.
