The Augusta PV solar plant, operated by BNRG Renewables, is located in Augusta, Maine, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 7.2 MW, this unregulated facility harnesses solar energy to generate power. The primary power purchaser for the plant is Central Maine Power Company, while Acadia Renewable Energy holds the majority ownership and is also the owner holding company. The plant contributes to the renewable energy landscape in the ISO New England power control area, utilizing the sun as its fuel source.
