Archer Daniels Midland’s Columbus facility is a coal-fired power plant located in Columbus, Nebraska, operating under the Midwest Reliability Organization. The plant utilizes steam turbine technology and has an operating capacity of 61 megawatts. It is part of the Southwest Power Pool power control area. The facility is unregulated and is wholly owned and operated by Archer-Daniels-Midland Company, which serves as both the majority owner and the holding company.
