Arborgate Solar is a solar power facility located in Pittsboro, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 5 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Solar Management Services and operates under an unregulated status. The majority ownership belongs to Strata Clean Energy, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced at Arborgate Solar is Duke Energy Progress, ensuring a reliable distribution of solar-generated power to the grid.
