Aragonne Wind is a wind turbine facility located in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, with an operating capacity of 235 MW. It is part of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council and operates under the Public Service Company of New Mexico’s power control area. The plant is unregulated and is operated by Aragonne Wind, with Leeward Renewable Energy as the majority owner. The facility is owned by OMERS Administration Corporation and primarily supplies power to Arizona Public Service Company, harnessing the renewable energy of wind to contribute to the region’s electricity supply.
