Apple Canyon Lake Solar is a solar power facility located in Apple River, Illinois, operating under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 1.2 megawatts, the plant harnesses solar energy to contribute to the regional power grid managed by the Midcontinent Independent System Operator. The facility is operated and wholly owned by Bluestem Energy Solutions, which also serves as its regulatory authority. As an unregulated entity, Apple Canyon Lake Solar focuses on delivering sustainable energy solutions while leveraging the abundant natural resource of sunlight.
