Ann Arbor Generating is a biomass-fueled power plant located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 1.6 MW, the facility utilizes internal combustion technology to generate electricity. It is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area and is operated by Aria Energy Corp. The plant is unregulated and is majority-owned by Energy Power Investment Company, which also serves as its holding company. DTE Electric Company is the primary purchaser of the power generated at this facility.
