American Legion PV 1 is a solar power plant located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 16 MW, the facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is operated by EcoPlexus, which is also the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated facility, American Legion PV 1 supplies power primarily to the Virginia Electric and Power Company, contributing to the renewable energy landscape in the PJM Interconnection power control area.
