Alta Wind X is a wind turbine facility located in Mojave, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 138 MW, the plant is managed by Clearway Energy Group, which also holds majority ownership. As an unregulated facility, Alta Wind X generates renewable energy using wind as its primary fuel source. The electricity produced is primarily purchased by Southern California Edison Company, contributing to the region’s sustainable energy goals.
