Alta Farms II Wind Project

The Alta Farms II Wind Project, located in Clinton, Illinois, is a state-of-the-art wind turbine facility with an operating capacity of 200.5 MW. Situated within the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region, this unregulated plant is managed by TradeWind Energy, which also holds the majority ownership. The project is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area and is primarily fueled by wind energy. Enel SpA serves as the owner holding company, while Meta Platforms is the primary power purchaser, highlighting the project’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
