The Alliant SBD 9206 facility, located in Cresco, Iowa, operates under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. This internal combustion power plant has an operating capacity of 1.6 megawatts and is integrated within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is managed by Industrial Energy Applications, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, the facility utilizes oil as its primary fuel source, contributing to the regional energy supply while adhering to operational standards set forth by relevant regulatory bodies.
