The Algonquin SKIC 10 Solar facility, located in Bakersfield, California, operates under the Western Electricity Coordinating Council. With a capacity of 10 MW, this solar power plant utilizes sunlight as its primary fuel source. Clearlight Energy ULC serves as both the plant operator and majority owner, with LS Power Development as the owner holding company. The facility is unregulated and sells its generated power primarily to Southern California Edison Company, contributing to the region’s renewable energy supply within the California Independent System Operator’s power control area.
