Albeni Falls is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Old Town, Idaho, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (NERC Region). The plant operates with a capacity of 42 megawatts and is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – North Pacific Division. It functions under the jurisdiction of the Bonneville Power Administration as its power control area. As an unregulated facility, Albeni Falls is primarily owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – North Pacific Division, utilizing water as its fuel source to generate electricity.
